Hi all,
I am Atif Shabir from Pakistan. I've been on dialysis for about two months. The cause of my renal failure was hypertension. I am planning to have a transplant after mid of this month.

How wonderful that you will have to endure dialysis for only a short time! I'm so pleased you will have a new lease on life, and thank you for joining us and reminding us that miracles do happen!
Do come back often and tell us more of your story.

Welcome Atif. My kidney failure was also due to undetected and untreated hypertension. Congratulations on your upcoming transplant. Who is giving you this great gift?

Atif, and it's lovely to have you join us with such superb news. I would love to hear more about Pakistan, whether kidney related or not. My husband wants to know if you have any good curry recipes over there, but I told him I did not even know if Pakistanis normally ate curries? Perhaps you could settle this issue for us.
Love meeting people from different cultures! Please keep us updated on your progress.
