Hi

My husband has been on dialysis since Aug. 97.  He started on PD that stopped working in Apr. 2000 and he changed to hemo.  We started training for nocturnal on Sept 11/o6 and came home with a Fresenius 2008 and WRO 300 on Oct. 18.  He is doing really well on this- he has always done really well on hemo.  He does 5 nights a week - 3 in a row -skip one night -then 2 in a row.  He does 8 hours with 250 pump speed and blood work results are fantastic.

Hi Del, Welcome to our Website/Support group.  Here, you will find you are never alone.  We all share the same thing in common (dialysis)  we have people that are patients, caregivers, spouses, workers, you name it, we are all here, and we are all ready to support each other any way we can.  I am currently on PD and i dread the day i have to go back to hemo, but i am not going to waste my time dwelling on if and when that happens, i am just going to enjoy it while i can.  I am so happy you have found us and i look forward to hearing more from you.  Please do not hesitate to post any questions, comments or concerns of your own as well...Glad you are here with us  :2thumbsup;
