A good friend of mine is climbing Ben Nevis in October for Kidney Research UK.  She hopes to raise £1,000 for the charity and only has 3 months to reach this target.

Like me, Emma is 25 years old. A friend of hers suggested doing something for charity and due to my kidneys recently packing up they have decided on helping out a kidney charity.

They chose Kidney Research UK because it funds research into all kinds of kidney problems rather than specialising in one particular field. It also aims to improve the life of people living with kidney disease as well as raising awareness around the country.

If anyone can help by pledging their support, it would be greatly appreciated. Even if it's only £1 it's still vital funding for a wonderful organisation. If you can't afford to help out, perhaps you wouldn't mind forwarding the link to as many of your friends as possible. If 1,000 people pledge £1 they will have their total in no time at all.

Donations can be made to Kidney Research UK using the link below. The money goes directly to the charity rather than to a third party unlike some other charity collection websites. Donations can remain anonymous on the website or you can leave a motivational message to help spur them on. You can also monitor how well their collection efforts are going just by clicking on the link.

What a great thing for your friend to do.  It is heartwarming when people reach out to help the situation you are in.  Wishing her good luck in both the climb and fundraising.   :2thumbsup;

A huge thank you and a big hug to the generosity of IHD and the sponsor donation.

My friend Emma was blown away and would like to convey her gratitude for your support.
