Are you sure it's a stomach ulcer? Was it officially diagnosed as an ulcer?If you haven't had an upper GI endoscopy yet, you need to. Ulcers can bleed--sometimes badly. And there's always a small chance that it could be Barrett's esophagus or cancer of the upper GI tract. Both are far more serious conditions than a simple ulcer. The endoscopy will show just what's going on in there.In the meantime, I've had decent results with prescription Nexium. Ask your doctor for a scrip of that.
