From Greg, a couple of minutes ago:

Janet's new kidney and pancreas are working perfectly! Docs exact words were "as if she had received them from a relative". Best possible outcome!

I admit that reading this made me a bit teary.  Janet really needed this and I hope things continue to go perfectly.

You're not going to believe this:

Greg just posted on facebook:

"So, I'm on my way home from the hospital tonight, and I get a frantic call from OSU... they have organs for Janet and have been desperately trying to get a hold of her! How pleased I was to tell them that she already got some yesterday! I guess one way another, she was getting her transplant this weekend..."

Sounds kinda what happened to me...the day I got the call and my transplant, my only potential live donor was getting tested that day.

pity they couldn't send 'em down this way..... >:D >:D >:D >:D

Isn't that funny though to have 2 calls basically within hours of eachother. That's pretty amazing.

Unfortunately I am now back in the hospital for the second time since my original release! It's been a long and rough road!

I wish there was a way to control Facebook updates, I never see hers unless it is posted at night. I get everyones Facebook games notices.

I should try to call her cell phone, they way it sounds, we may have the same experience. Also explains why she didn't answer her email..

I should check her page more too.
