Hi Steve. I've often wondered if kidney stones were ever a cause of kidney failure. So, now I know. Please post your story here. I would be interested in hearing it. Glad you found us.

Hi Steve! My fiance (known as Sandman on this board) lives in PA!
How long from you getting kidney stones was it til you became on HemoDialysis? I know I didn't know I would be on Hemo Dialysis this young in my life (but my situation is completely different. I was on Peritoneal Dialysis). Suddenly I am sitting in a chair with a catheter in my chest. Scary! We are here for you!
There is lots of info on this site and also a great chatroom to talk with any of us LIVE!

Adding my welcome to the others. This is a great place to be. I discovered it just when I needed it - just before I started dialysis. What I would have done without it, I don't know. There is so much happening on this site. You will never be bored. We just want to hear from you. Feel free to vent when you have to. Let us know how you are doing. Here is a group hug from all of us -
