I have had a very long downtime from the Internet and so have not been able to greet all you dear new members who have become part of our IHD family.  This is a very special place for all those in any way connected to this renal challenge - dialysis patients, pre-dialysis, transplant receivers, donors, loved ones, caregivers, doctors, nurses, techs, dieticians, and just interested people.
Welcome to our community!  Take advantage of all we have to offer - information, support, and even fun!  I look forward to getting to know some of you better, as I get my internet back in a few days' time (hopefully)
Just keep reading, and above all, keep posting.  IHD is more than just a website - it is a genuine family (and I can prove it to you!)
