At the center yesterday I noticed there were
thanksgiving suggestions for meals, etc. and a board
with turkeys and on each turkey a patient had written
what they were thankful for and I noticed a huge
percentage of them had that they were thankful to still
be alive.  What are you most thankful for?

I am thankful my husband is still with me this year.
I am thankful he is recovering from serious injury.
I am thankful we have both kept our sense of humor through everything.
I am thankful that I belong to a group of people as nice as everyone is here.
I am even thankful for eight years on dialysis ( even though I still hate it.)

For my husband, family and friends.
For all the stubborn I inherited from my grandmother.
For the warped sense of humor that's got me this far.
For all the info I've gotten from this board.

I am thankful that Joe is still alive, that he is able to still work and enjoy most of his normal activities, even if he has to work it around dialysis.  I am thankful that we are still together (we went through a very rough time this year).  I am thankful I am part of the IHD community.    :grouphug;

I am thankful that I don't have to dialyze on Thanksgiving (because I'm NOT going to).

I'm thankful for my family (especially my sister), my friends, that I have a job that I enjoy and awesome clients that I consider friends. I'm thankful for my loving husband of 23 years, for healthy kids that are growing up to be kind and honest human beings. I'm thankful for my church family and for all of the prayers that have been lifted for me over the years!

I'm thankful for my family.  I'm especially thankful for my sister, because I couldn't have made it through all this without her support.  I'm thankful for my job, I really like it and I love the people I work with.  I'm thankful because I really am very blessed and lucky to have the life that I have.  Sometimes I forget that, but then I'll see someone who really has problems and I'm just grateful to be me!

Send a free Thanksgiving Card.  Some of these are pretty funny.  Click on the link and go to ecards.  Then on the thanksgiving section at the top click on more and then click on humorus.  Have Fun!

Nice! I am always on the lookout for e-cards that don't have all those pesky sneaky installs of trojans and popups telling you that your computer is infected and must install their program now! lol

Halmark is one that everyone can trust!  :2thumbsup;

.. even though my thanksgiving was last month I am thankful that my mom is talking to me again!  :2thumbsup;

I am thankful we, the hubby and I, have made it to Thanksgiving and into this hoiday season without killing each other, getting angry at each other, or becoming bitter.  We are truly struggling with the becoming of our Superhero identities!
