This is so minor but I thought I'd post my "news" as little as it is.

I think I explained in the other thread that here THE LIST is sorted after a match is made on the "time on dialysis" on the list, as opposed to the time you were first added to the list.

Well I was reminded yesterday that I had done this trial for my doctor where they started me LATER on dialysis to see about the effect on quality of life, health etc.. so I didn't start until my GRF was around 6% vs. the usual 10% or so you usually start at.

So I asked about this in terms of my "time on dialysis" date on the list given that I would have started much earlier if it wasn't for the trial. They came back and said that YES I get some credit (!) for the trial and they pushed my "dialysis start date" back to 1/2006 (from 4/2006 which was itself an error since I actually started 7/2006). So basically I got a 6 month credit for my trial which was kind of nice.

I don't expect it will make much difference in terms of when I might get a kidney, but every little bit helps hey?
