Check out this site for Black Friday ads, I know the owner of the site "Rossman" and he is a stand up guy, so if you plan to do any shopping after Thanksgiving be sure to use this site to get a plan of attack going because it's going to be crazy out there. This site is very useful in getting a plan together so you can get a lot of great deals.

http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/

Not sure what "Black Friday" is Click this link: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/FAQ

So are you going out shopping the day after Thanksgiving? If so what are you interested in buying. I myself will be picking up a 15" LCD TV for my kitchen, I will be mounting it to the wall.  :)

While you are on that site be sure to check out the forums for some great advice from fellow deal hunters. Again the link is: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/

No, no, and double no!  I will not be going anywhere near any of these stores and the mad rush of lunatics in them!  Crazy people beating each other up over TV's and Tickle me Elmos - no thank you!  ;D

Since I'm out of work right now, doing the dialysis thing, I won't be working it for the first time in many years and could go if I wanted to.  But being in retail myself, I will not be going out on Friday.  For those of you going out, please remember that those of us who work in retail are people too. :-)  I know not all customer service is perfect, but if you receive good service, please return the favor.  Say "hello" and look your salesperson in the face.  Oh and please respect them enough to listen to whatever BS they have to try and sell you - they are just doing their jobs.  We are working folks and on days like Black Friday, you have no idea was BS we have to put up with and keep a smile on our face.  Whew - sorry for the  :rant;.  Retail sucks on occasion, but believe it or not, right now I miss my customers and my store  :-[  Hell, I miss working . . .

Oh Man, I hate going out to the stores on the Friday after Thanksgiving.  It is crazy!!!  I have done it before, but now just look at the people who go and smile from my computer screen.  I am going to Kay Jewelers tomorrow to get my girls their Christmas presents.   Can't say what they are, because Maria, my daughter, is on this site somewhere!  I don't want to spoil the surprise.  Said too much as it is.  I think I will gift my mom and sisters gift cards to Best Buy or Walmart or somewhere.  I am sending my duahgter Danielle a gift box of food to eat.  Maria gets a Readers Digest subscription. She knows this already.

Awesome link, Epoman!  I sent it to everyone I work with, they're all planning their shopping right now.  I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff, I really get caught up in the thrill of the hunt.

Year before last I saw a six foot tall wooden nutcracker for $99.00 at WalMart.  My sister really wanted one for a decoration at our house, but the cheapest ones we had seen were about $400.00.  So we got to WalMart really, really early, and I was one of the first ones in line.  The doors open and the people all crush in there like they're crazy.  I run as fast as I can through the store to where the nutcrackers are.  As I'm running I'm noticing that I'm pretty much alone now, no one else seems to be running for the six foot tall nutcrackers.

I get to the display, there's just me and three WalMart employees standing there.  There's a HUGE pile of the nutcrackers, and I'm the only person buying them.  It was hilarious, the employees and I all got a good laugh that I was so worried that I might not get a nutcracker.  My sister came with the cart, we got two nutcrackers, checked out in the Garden Shop to get out quicker, and we were in our car and headed home in about 15 minutes.

I love the excitement of the day after Thanksgiving shopping, I can't tell you how much stuff I've bought just because someone else said it was a great deal and it was going fast.  I bought a sewing machine three years ago because it was a fabulous deal, I already have a sewing machine and I don't even use it!

Want to sell the sewing machine?   My daughter loves to sew and it would be a great Christmas present for her.

I'd give it to you if I still had it, but one of my neighbors told me that another one of my neighbors really wanted a new sewing machine because she sews all of her kid's clothes and she couldn't afford one.  So, I wrapped up the new sewing machine and took it and left it on her porch.

They have a Brother sewing machine in the WalMart Black Friday ad for $55.00, that seems like a good deal.

There's a website called Overstock.com, I don't know if they advertise it everywhere, but here in Utah they have these commercials talking about the Big O, and there's this beautiful woman talking about the Big O and how she got it at home, etc., etc.  Well, I told my brother I thought the commercial was confusing because if they only referred to themselves as the Big O, people were going to think it was for Oprah (the Big O in my mind), not Overstock.com.  My brother laughed his head off and then explained what the Big O was that they were referring to.

Geez, I was so embarrassed.  No wonder I don't have a boyfriend!
