All,
I'm having surgery for my new access next Thursday, 4/8. They are going to use the extrimities of my upper arm. The interesting thing about this surgery is they said I have to have a physical, which I'm not sure why but I'm guessing it's because they have to do one every so often. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I go through this and that this access will surve me well.

You will definitely be in my thoughts Troy and I hope it all goes super smoothly.  My first fistula from many years ago was in my left forearm, and my more recent one was done in my upper left arm.  Worked really well for the year I was back on D and it's still going strong now, a year after transplant.
Hang tough and let us know how things go.

Troy,

You will certainly be in my thoughts.
I'll try to send some positive mojo your way--but I'm so nearsighted, please forgive me if the mojo misses you and hits the wall.    ;D

Oh Troy, best wishes for next week!  I hope your fistula will have much fabulousness and will be the talk of the town...or at least of the OR!  We expect a full report asap, and we expect good news!
