SPEED TRAPS - NO JOKE...CHECK IT OUT!
I had no idea this was available to everyone.
Do you know the speed traps in your hometown?
Click on whatever state /Province you want and then it will show the city or towns you want to view, click on which one you want to view. See if you know any of them.

They do have one local spot listed - but not the one almost directly across from my house! I'm in a tiny, one-blinker-light town. The speed limit drops from 55 to 35 for all of 1 mile. No tourist ever bothers to slow, so the cops sit in a drive almost directly across from my house some days, and just nab them one after the other after the other. ..

You can add an item to your city, if you think it is a good idea.

I figure if they are too dumb to slow down, they get what they deserve! But then I've never had a ticket in my life, so I'm lacking in sympathy for speeders. Plus, I get really annoyed listening to them slam on their brakes when someone in front of them is making a turn.

I added the main street near my house because there are 2 motorcycle officers with radar. I figure the net result will be good because anyone who reads it on that site will slow down.

There is also an app for the iPhone that alerts you when you in the area. You just have to have your location setting set to on for it to work. However I do not need to pay for the app, I do not have a problem not speeding except on the highway, which is rare now.

okarol for posting this site.Didn't know they had such a site to go to.Wish I'd joined IHD a couple yrs ago.
I really got nailed by this one Indiana State police trooper.
He not only was abusive to me but he also stopped his own cousin and her step-son! ( They both work at mom's dialysis clinic ).This "cop" has a long history of "getting rough " with the people that he stops.
