Need to share

A good friend is having a very hard time today. He is a very prominante figure in the state, so he doesn't share much publically. Last year, his partner died of liver cancer three weeks after diagnosis. Today his father is having surgery for kidney cancer. He is scared to death his dad will die. He isn't ready to read or listen to the statistics yet. Everyone is giving him support but also space. I am hoping he will come here and look for some answers, but because of his position, I don't think he will. I can only keep him and his dad in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for listening.

That's quite a burden for one person to have to deal with in such a short period of time. I hope things will work out well for him.

I know how he feels. To loose your wife and the find out a parent needs a procedure for cancer. Not the best to deal with, makes start to feel mighty low.
I don't know him, but that doesn't stop me from "send/ing"
and
for a good result for his Dad.
