It stands for - In Case of Emergency. Any who, the article was talking about emergency workers will go throu your cell phone if you are unable to communicate. They go through your contacts. So what they want you to do is put I C E in front of family memebers names so they know that is someone they can contact for you.For instance, the I's in my contact list look like this :I C E - moms nameI C E - dads nameI C E - sisters nameNow that I think about it. I think I'm going to add my bestfriends names to the list. Also, put something in my wallet for extra security..
My cell phone has a section listed especially for emrgency contact numbers, when you look at the list of contacts it pops up first.
