Well ive been to see the 'eye specialist today' and its not good news. I have a black shadow on my eye , so now have to see another specialist and i also have to have a CT scan to see if i have pressure on my brain. I think im at an all time low right now , i just cant stop crying.

OH NO!!! I have Furniture Disease as well ! My chest has dropped into my drawers !

September 2013: ~7% function. Started PD dialysis
February 11, 2014: Transplant from deceased donor. Creatinine 0.57 on 2/13/2014

I am so sorry to hear this, Kickstart. I hope you can take some solace in the hope that if they find out what is wrong with you, they may well be able to stop the pain.

It just must feel like it's one thing after another Kickstart.  God!!  I know how you feel as I once had my lungs full of fluid, my PD tube twist, and then they found out I had clots in my lungs.  At the time I ended up having three major operations in one week - one was to go through the back of my ribs, pull out my lung, scrape the surface off it, blow it back up and stick it with a glue stuff, back into the hole.  The minor op was getting my tube placed properly!  I felt like it was never going to end, and that every time they looked for one thing they found something else wrong.  But, I took all these things one day at a time and tried to see the positive - i.e the eye thing is fixable - even if it means more ops.  It'll be one more thing you can tick off your list.  Feeling for you right now.

Diagnosed Nov 2007 with Multiple Myeloma.
By Jan 2008 was in end stage renal failure and on haemodialysis.
Changed to CAPD in April 2008.  Now on PD with a cycler.  Working very part time - teaching music.  Love it.  Husband is Paul (we're both 46), daughter Molly is 13.

Hope the problem can be sorted out soon.... Meanwhile, ask about being referred to a Pain Clinic.... No point in surffering if you don't have to...

KS I am so sorry to hear you have got another problem, what did you do "kill Cock Robin" Have they said what could be a matter with your eye, is it some thing to do with  Kidney disease?  Can you see through this black shadow. I bet you are so fed up with it all. Whats that saying "It never rains, but it pours" some thing like that. Will you have to wait long for the CT scan and how are you coping at the unit with your neck. All these questions, look we are all batting for you and thinking about you, try even though it is hard, to stay positive.

I think this is the third time I have tried to post this.
