In da House.

« on: November 19, 2009, 02:22:27 PM »

Well as i thought i went in today for D and the 'bitch nurse from hell' was on duty ! She is in charge of the shift. Im extremely sore , still bleeding a small amount . I walked in the best i could , having walked into the unit , up a long sloping corridor and i mean long! Then up to the unit. The first thing she said when she spotted me was .. what are you walking like that for ? So to give her the benefit of the doubt i said ..oh i had surgery 2 days ago (it was actually only 36hrs) and she said ..yes i know but theres no need to walk like that ! So in no mood i let it go , to be honest i was in too much pain to start. Anyway i got to my bed and no way could i get on it , i was really struggling. so she came over and said , look its been 2 days since you've had the surgery , you should be fine !!! WTF? For those of you that are squeamish turn away now ! I have had all round my exit site cut away, so that i have a fresh area for it to heal , theyve pulled out a tube thats been embedded in me for 5 yrs , the surgeon showed it me and there was a fair bit of my insides stuck to it ! and she tells me i should be fine..jezzzz that woman has no compassion and shouldnt be in there. I gave as good as i got (as usual) but she always has to have the last word ..always ..and i was weary and in pain and just wanted rid of her. Her parting shot was , when you get up, take both hands and press as hard as you can on the wound area and stand upright and stride out , can you believe her ? What i would give to swap places with her. Anyway after 2 hrs she went off duty. Oh she wanted to see my surgery but i refused. I managed to do 3 hrs sat on the edge of the bed and then i was in so much pain i couldnt do any more . Luckily for me a lovely nurse came to me , started to hug me and rub my back and said of course i will take you off , you must be in a lot of pain. No doubt next time the other one is one my shift she will be gunning for me now , but maybe i will be a bit stronger and not as much pain , and boy oh boy will i be ready for her  :boxing; Ding ,ding , round 2 ! :2thumbsup;

She thinks she is showing you who has the power and the last word.  She
needs her teeth slapped down her throat.  Hope you are feeling lots better when you go back.

RM they are sort of a cross between a bed and a chair but believe me they are not comfy. You are neither lay down or sat up but at the most awkward angle. Its policy over here that you cant sit in a chair. Believe me some days a chair would suit me fine !

I work in a hospital and sometimes patients have moments of altered mental status and they kick the nurses and get away with it.  ;D

I think she needs to be "accidentally" kicked in the mouth.  On a serious note, I am sorry you have to deal with such a crab a**.  I believe in Karma and she will get her payment someday for treating you so badly.  The only real annoyance I had in my hemo clinic was nurses/techs complaining about being there.  Ah yeah, they choose to be there, we don't.

What a B**** she is kickstart. She deserves a good prank and not to be told until it's to late to get maximum embarassment. She should not be working there.

Here is the thing for her it is "just a job". For us it is life soooo . . .

Here is my suggestion, please let me be first.

The rhinocerous strategy. Be nice. Buy her a small present. Send her xmas card, birthday card. And let her stew in "what is she up to????" And with each act of kindness in light of her dull attempts at evil, your light shall shine brighter and your allies will multiply.

(Now this strategy is usually reserved for dealing with ex girlfriends but it applies. Now it was given to me by my sister, so no I am not an ex- girlfirend. And for you boys out there it does not work as well fur us gentlemen.)

Good luck and hopefull the rest of the gang will have better ideas of revenge. But it is all of us against her so I am betting on us  AND you!
