Anyboby know if nxstage is available in canada yet.  Hear a rumor that a patient in Alberta has one but don't know if it is true.  Is nx stage approved for nocturnal yet or was it always approved for nocturnal.  Hubby does nocturnal now but would be wonderful to have a portable machine.

I live in Toronto and my research has found that there is no NxStage equipment in Canada.  I do not know if they are waiting for government approval or if NxStage is in no rush to get outside of the US.  Do any users in the US know what the plans are ?

Someone in another post said they called the company, and they have no plans to go outside the US at all, at least not in the near future.  They are having a hard enough time keeping up with the demand here in the States, I think.  My center had to wait several months to get their program started - they don't have enough people to do the training, and they can still only produce the machines so fast.

As im sure most of you know, NxStage has expanded outside of the US.  I believe they are not in Canada due to Restrictions in Canada and not because NxStage does not want to expand...
