Last week on 7/15 I had a breast biopsy the results came back that their was no cancer in that area but Atypical cells the Surgeon is scheduling me for an open biopsy of the surrounding tissue I have a 10% chance of it turning out to be DCIS non-invasive or invasive. My surgery will be scheduled in the beginning of August.

Yay - no cancer sounds good.  I think the atypical cells thing is not that uncommon.  I always have that come back when I have a smear - but it's nothing to worry about.  Here's hoping that your atypical cells also will be nothing to worry about.

Thinking positive thoughts cookie.  I am sure everything will come out clean, but I know the waiting is torturous.

Well tomorrow is my surgery first I have to have a mammogram for them to place a wire so the surgeon can find the area again that was biopsied already. Ive been to this hospital so many times for surgery they remember me. Three fistula surgeries, one removal of my pd catheter, one placement of a permacath, and my biopsy, I really hope this is my last time.

My caring thoughts and prayers are with you.  Hope everything turns out okay.  I had my own run-in with breast cancer 16 years ago and am still around (to deal with dialysis!!)!  Listening out to hear how everything went.
