:waving; Hello all I just joined and hope I found the right spot because boy do I hate dialysis :o!Been doing it for just over three years now.............plus I am a diabetic,25 years, with many other complications.I am up in Canada just 50 miles West of Ottawa Ontario :canadaflag;.I have many questions and concerns about alot of things....some outside of the scope of the board sorry.I generally think "outside of the box" and am considered to be extreme by a few.....I just want answers and am tired of getting the run around by the medical field about my illnesses :banghead; :stressed;.I also have a very weird sense of humour :yahoo;.I prefer straight talk,no beating around the bushes with me if say or do something that you do not agree with let me know I am not trying to pick fights or anything but do like to see both sides of debates and such and figure everyone has the right to their opinions, even if they are wrong :o ;D.So take care and enjoy.

:welcomesign;  I'm from Toronto.  Feel free to ask questions, raise issues, whatever.  Lots of opinions and info here and most people not too shy to speak up.
If direct is what you're after I think you're in the right place.

I think you just described most of the members here!  This is a great place to be yourself and say what you think. Just like any family, we disagree sometimes, but we give each other great support in times of stress.  I think you will fit in wonderfully   :2thumbsup;    We are glad you joined.  Welcome to IHD.

Welcome to our community!  Paris said exactly what I was thinking when I read your post. You sound like 90% of the member of IHD! You will fit in well here.  This is not just a website - it is a genuine family  :grouphug; The only things we don't like are  personal attacks and extreme vulgarity, but otherwise everyone is free to express themselves.  That is the raison d'etre of this website.  So read a lot and post a lot.
