I brought my netbook with me to dialysis tonight and am writing this message while connected to the wi-fi of my center. There is no charge for the service. The only negative is that I am connected to their corporate system and am therefore blocked from Facebook and other personal and people networking sites as the system thinks I am an employee. If you try to go there you get warning from Human Resources stating that
" Access to this page is restricted per H.R. Section IV, Policy 8 "Computer Use and Security", and has been logged."
I am waiting to be called into H.R. to be spoken to. (LOL)

Now, now. We all know that dialysis is just like going to a job, so don't go messing with HR!

I've linked to the wifi at my center a couple of times. My problem, being the horrible speller that I am, is typing with only one hand but I tried. The only restriction is that at the login page you have to promise not to go to porn sites. There are actually two possible connection with one being somewhat weak and the other strong. Problem is, you can't tell till you try to connect which is which. At least it is a nice thought for them -- plus there is Mac the technical support guy. I've never met him but they swear you can get him if you need him.

Jess,
Just ask them and they will give you the login and password. It will be something like (username) fmc**** & (password)clinic****
(*= location clinic number) Thats what I did but their internet is too slow for me so now I just watch DVD's.

Hi, I'm from Malaysia, in Port Dickson ( 2°32'37.83"N , 101°48'34.02"E) my GPS Coordinate or Google Earth.
I have been requested for WI FI since last year, still pending.... but they provide it at the lobby.... with the WIFI, able to work from the dialysis centre and the office - how nice....
