Last year this time we were in a drought here in Ga. This year we're being washed away. It's been raining for days and is supposed to rain all next week. Roads and schools are closed and many people are stranded in their houses. Heaven help us if it's not one thing it is another.

I'm just north of you Mimi. We are not getting it quite as bad in Tennessee, but I am soooooo tired of rain right now. And as a teacher of young kids, I'm about to pull my hair out. We need to get those children OUTSIDE!!!!!!!

I remember my dear friend in Georgia telling me about the drought last year - having to ration water usage, etc., so when I saw the flooding on CNN, I could not believe it was the same state.
My caring thoughts and prayers are with you all.

What's the quote about "feast or famine"? Is there one comparable for rain? Hey, it is just not starting in south texas. Shushhhhh!

The winds are up and fires are loose. Wish us luck in California this fall.
