Hi I go under the name is Billybags. July 8th went to Kos in Greece first holiday my husband has had a broad since going on to CAPD. We had one day, one bloody day and then he got a cloudy bag. Cut it short we had to go to Kos hospital who could not deal with CAPD and told us to catch  a catamaran to Rhodes (two and a half hours by sea.)We were there for five days and ok they were really good, they released us for our flight home as long as we went straight to our uk hospital, which we did. That is a month ago and he is still there. Every test has come back ok but he is in so much pain, had to have his tube out and go on to emergency Heamo, antibiotics by the day. There seems not end to this. Sorry had to rant a little.

billybags, what a horrible experience and it's still not over.  Such a shame to venture forth on holiday and have things go wrong.  I hope your husband can shake the bug soon and I hope also he can go back to PD when all is resolved.  This is your safe place to rant and it can be a big or a little rant, whatever you need.

to you Billybags.

Thats no good, to go to all that effort and have trouble after one day. Hope things look up soon and your husband can leave hospital.
