Well after a couple of years waiting tonight see,s the last night shift ( 10.30-4.30) as we move to the new £200m extension this weekend. No longer will there be a night shift as the Unit will close at 1.00am and my start time will be 6.30pm the only drawback to this is driving in through the evening rush-hour.
This move comes at the end of an interesting week as the Hospital is investing another £30m to become the UKs centre of excellence for transplants and its partner research institute has just announced it has produced human sperm from stem-cells obtained from male and female embryos.
Who knows future generations may not have to wait years for transplants they will just grow you one!

"investing"? A political euphemism for spending.

I told my wife I was "investing" £10k in my wine cellar. "That's not an investment" she said. "You'll drink it".

Yup.  :2thumbsup;
