PD patients and tamiflu

Hi there,
We have suspected swine flu in the family, so my son who is on PD has been given a one-off dose of tamiflu. They reassured me from the hospital that as he has no symptoms this is enough, and if I were to give him more, I would actually be overdosing him, because of reduced creatinine clearence. Is this what others in this situation have been instructed? I'm just worried it is not enough...

I think one dose is enough. I haven't heard of people getting two doses. Swine flu is rampant here in NZ - cos it's flu season anyway. Can you keep the family members away completely - that would probably be best.
