Hello all, my name is blavoie. I am new to Dialysis. I do perataneal dialysis at home on the cycler. I started dialysis at the end of March, so I've only been doing it for a couple of months.

I'm not sure what to ask or say at this point, I may do more reading than chatting.  :thx;

 :welcomesign;  Bob.  Lots of reading to be done so that's a great way to begin but if you have any specific questions, this is a good place to get input from others who are in a similar situation.  There are several threads specific to PD and the cycler.

Hiya Bob.  It just took me ages to work out how people knew to call you Bob.  I'm fairly new to the site, but have been doing PD on a cycler for over a year.  Look forward to getting to know you.

I don't use a belt.  I just put a wee bit of tape next to the dressing so it doesn't tug, and a tuck the end into my knickers at the side.

I will give a little information about me. I started manual peritoneal dialysis on March 30, 2009. Then started on the Liberty Cycler on May 20, 2009. It seems to be working out OK, I feel much better. I should have started  this a year ago. Oh ya, I almost forgot, today makes the 75th day on the organ transplant list.
Enough said about me for now. :clap;
