Today I went to a "Drag Brunch", which is exactly what it sounds like - brunch that included an extremely entertaining drag show - at my dear friend's Bistro Cafe.

Anyway, there was almost a fire in the back of the Bistro that could have prematurely ended the show or worse.  Luckily, it was caught and extinguished in plenty of time.  It didn't phase the audience or the Drag Queens one bit and only added to the fun.

However, I couldn't help but see my Obituary...  "Kelly received a life saving kidney transplant on November 5, 2008.  However, died tragically on April 26, 2009 in a fire while enjoying a Drag Show".    :rofl;

God, you rascal!!!

Oh Kelly, I wish I had been there!   There is nothing like a bunch of queens and and some drama!   :rofl;   What a headline that would have made!   Glad the fire was put out in time.  With all the big hair and hairspray--it could have been a real disaster   :rofl;

Oh yes!  The "lady" that was the MC calmly asked everyone to get up and head out the front door in a straight line, never mentioning there was a fire.  There were people getting up and taking the pitchers of Mimosa's with them and stuff.  It was a hoot!

Flamable hair, dresses, alcohol - we would have went up FAST!   :rofl;
