I just think about the girls of IHD and I don't even need my blanket to keep warm !! :rofl; :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;


But you may need the blanket anyway.    :o

Uninterrupted in-center (self-care) hemodialysis since 1982 -- 34 YEARS on March 3, 2016 !!

No transplant.  Not yet, anyway.  Only decided to be listed on 11/9/06. Inactive at the moment.  ;)
I make films.

Just the facts: 70.0 kgs. (about 154 lbs.)
Treatment: Tue-Thur-Sat   5.5 hours, 2x/wk, 6 hours, 1x/wk
Dialysate flow (Qd)=600;  Blood pump speed(Qb)=315
Fresenius Optiflux-180 filter--without reuse
Fresenius 2008T dialysis machine
My KDOQI Nutrition (+/ -):  2,450 Calories, 84 grams Protein/day.

we were warm at dialysis on Monday
the air broke and the techs were hot, hot, hot
and sweating and complaining  :cheer: :bandance; :cheer:

You would not believe how hot it was in my part of the center last night. They were running THREE fans and it did not do anything but move the hot air around.  Sheez, and only our area was this hot!  I told them them they must have forgotten to pay the air conditioning bill.

I usually turn into a icecube when on the machine. I have 2 blankets on and im still freezing, i guess its poor circulation. Im also sitting in a drafty location.
