the techs and nurses at dialysis have not been friendly to me since I got out of the hospital -
I did not mention any names or anything - my dry weight was off by 10 kilos my nep doc told me today on rounds in front of all his staff - ???
that sounds like a big goof - up to me----
usually the staff is very friendly
- my friends at dialysis ( patients ) are still the best

Twirl, you did absolutely nothing wrong!  You are the one who was injured and ended up in the hospital.

If the staff is being less friendly, I am guessing it is because they are afraid someone is going to point the finger at them.
And, in my opinion, someone should!    :boxing;

I am glad your nephrologist is aware of the problem AND the cause of it.  Maybe they will be more careful in the future.  They will get over it.  No one could remain unfriendly toward you for long!   :cuddle;

Twirl I am sorry they are acting like that. People just don't like being told that they are stupid and don't know how to do there job.  Its kinda human.  But I am glad that  your doctor said it. Might just keep them on there toes and you out of the hospital. That sounds good to me.

On a good note I am happy your back!

Twirl it IS good to have you back!  Sorry to hear that the staff are acting like this, I can only suggest that you act as you normally would and they will come round.  As others have said they probably feel guilty, to have your dry weight that far off is unacceptable and no doubt they have been hauled over the coals about it (rightly so).  You have done nothing wrong, carry on as normal and try not to let it get to you.  We are all here for you and we are all glad to have you 'back home' at IHD  :cuddle;

Sounds like you need to start a rumor that you have this doctor's personall cell phone number and he said to call him anytime you have a problem.   >:D

You should start to get excellent care!

Twirl don't feel intimidated by those techs. They get paid to CARE for you and they are not doing their job properly.     :Kit n Stik;

It's time to stand your ground and tell them what they should be doing.  :cuddle;

 :cheer: twirl. I am so happy to see you posting. Screw those techs and nurses, they goofed big time and they all know it. I sure hope that you are feeling better. I like rerun's advice. You take care of yourself and stuff will start falling into place. Kim hit the nail on the head, they are acting childess and need to suck it up. I have missed you.  :cuddle;

I'm confused.  ??? That's nothing new though! Are the nurses being unfriendly as retribution because the neph said that about the fluid on you or did they leave the extra fluid on you because they wanted to get back at you for something? And was this before or after the hospital visit? I'm so confused!  :(

I'm just glad that when I had my husband call my dialysis clinic after my first day when they screwed up and yell at my nurse, everyone at the clinic has been kissing my butt ever since! I'm so sorry you have to deal with all this.  :cuddle;
