Today, March 25th, at 6pm EDT, surgeons will show you the laparoscopic procedure for removing a kidney from a healthy donor to transplant into a person suffering from kidney disease.

Wow, thanks for posting that. I'm watching some of it right now. The first part walks through the surgery - this is kind of abstractly interesting, but some people might not be that interested - I mean, you don't really need to know exactly what they do.
But the later partis a Q&A with the doctors and a donor/recipient pair. I thought it was great - I've done a lot of reading and stuff and I still found it very informative.

The video is archived now, so you can still watch it.  Those docs are not going to be winning Emmys anytime soon, but the shots of the surgery are kind of cool.

I watched it, and although I liked (kinda) watching the operation, I LOVED the question and Answer part, the questions were well thought out and the doctors answered them wonderfully!!
