Hey twirl, you can come anytime. My son and his buddy came and plowed the driveway and shoveled the front porch and sidewalks for us. I shoveled a path on the back deck and a small patch of grass for the dogs. I have some pictures of them I'll post later. My son Billy is the biggest kid you'll ever meet, there is a park around the corner from us and Billy took his 4 wheeler and intertube down there with the kids and had a blast. I bet they all slept good. The weather people are saying almost 70 degrees here this weekend and I'm praying it will melt a lot of it. Our north side of the house is really shaded and there will probably be snow there for weeks no matter what the temperature gets to. Come on spring. I have flowers that are coming up through the snow and blooming. I think they are confused.  :urcrazy; I am ready for spring.  :bow;

40 degrees is a releative term. in january we think it's down right warm, in september we thing brrrrrr it's cold.

You are so right - I hate the time in the winter when we think 30 degrees is "warm."  There is just something not right about that.

Both of you are so right!!  LOL

Here we are complaining about how cold it is.  At nights it is a chilly 75º!!!

we had an overcast day today and the tourists from the cruiseship were complaining.  Most of the time they are saying how hot it is.  I told some of them that I like an overcast day - then you don't get burnt.

Check out this cool satellite image of the snow on the US east coast.  http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/IOTD/view.php?id=37261

I arrived in Corpus Christi Texas tonight to palm trees and a balmy evening breeze.  A nice change from the teens and 20s that hit coastal Virginia before I left.

P.S. I waved to Twirl as I flew over Conroe!

ewww - the snow map is no more impressive than the snow that we've been shoveling - we need to start now with a five letter word such as spring and get rid of the four letter word snow.   :flower;

I never though SNOW was a four letter word, but I guess it really is.

I have officially banned the word from our vocabulary.  The white stuff in your yard is a multitude of individual snowflakes!
