My PD catheter was placed on October 1st and I read somewhere that it take about four months to heal. Mine is slanted to the left and as  long as it stays in that position everything is fine, but if I get out of the shower and take the tape off and it accidentally moves in the other direction it  hurts like it did when first put in.  The PD nurse looks as it each month as says it looks fine. Will it always feel like this or will it heal at some point?  I have read other posts that say some people do not even tape it up at all and I cannot even imagine that.

Hi there, that does not sound right I do not feel any pain at all at my exit site. You may want to have the nurse look further into it.
