Patsy & Dennis
Happy that you have found the #1 site for support and understanding when it comes to dialysis questions needs and understanding.
Sounds like you are both having some great adventures.
Have you thought of doing PD. Seems like you like to travel and get around and this may help give you the freedom to do just that.
Hope to see you on the boards. Also you must have some awesome photos of your trips

WOW!!!!!! what a great surprise to receive all of your great message, Thank You each and Every one of You. I have kowen in the back of my mind that dialysis was coming for years, I had a stomach by pass operation about 30 years ago and the Dr. laid all the facts [ both good and bad ] out to me and gave me until age 55, I am now 65 so I feel I am ahead of the game but still not ready to throw in the towel and will fight this with all of my power.
Yes we have some great pictures of our travels and will share them with who ever is interested. New Zealand, Tonga, and other south Pacific island. Australia, Solomans, P.N.G., then three years ago we started up through Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia, then a yacht race in Borneo and it was on our entrance into the Phillippines that the kidneys gave out and my first footfall on the Island of Palawan was the emergency room at the hospital
We will be arriving home Feb 28 and will be going first to the Lakewood Washington Davita Center and hope to enroll in their Nx Stage home dialysis program ASAP. Any experience or recommendation from you would be very much appreciated.
One concern Dennis is dealing with is HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST ? at this point all we have is Medicare part A & B. Any one have any suggested on getting started on the right track the first time.
Again Thank You all very much for you Help

Wow that ounds incredable to sail around for that amount of time and to those places.
I'm sure there are members who can have input regarding home dialysis.
God Luck.
