Spring, definitely.  I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, which means I'm pretty much totally depressed in Winter; I use full spectrum lights and Prozac to take the edge off, but doom & gloom  pretty much hang over my head all Winter, and my energy disappears.  So in Spring, when the weather turns nicer, and the flowers and trees show life again, and the days, Thank God, get longer, life starts looking good again, and I go back to the younger-smarter-funnier-nicer me!
That also helps with Vit D .. which most of us are dificient on anyway. I have wondered if I had SAD but I don't know. I get depressed if I don't get enough sun. I really love sunny days.

If you have reason to wonder, then I bet you do have it, at least to some degree; not everyone has it to the same degree, but it's a bummer, and I can't imagine dealing with ESRD and SAD both.  I spent 10 years in the flagship study that was done at NIH, and it was amazing to realize how my life had been impacted by it.  (Could have avoided lots of missteps and misery if I had known about it earlier.)

Sounds like a pretty common problem as just about everyone suffers from this from one degree to another.  I have it real bad but I find I feel so much better when I spend an hour or two a day out on the motorcycle.
