Prostate Biopsy

Currently doing CCPD,transplant center is requesting I do or have a biopsy preformed on my prostate due to high PSA levels so they can be certain no cancer is present. Wanting to know if any males on IHD forum has had this procedure done while on CCPD, and what to expect. Thanks

Oleboy please get it done.  It will be painful but it doesn't take long - easy for a woman to say eh! But my husband died from PC because he had no symptoms until it was too late and had already spread, so I encourage all men to get their prostates tested.

I can't give you a lot of details but I know he had no anesthetic, I know it was painful but I also know it was a fairly quick procedure and the pain was bearable. 

I will say a prayer for you that it is benign.
