I had many colds during my transplant Chris.  Main thing is to rest, drink lots of fluids, take only the meds your transplant team approves.  They (the colds) tend to last longer with a compromised immune system but you should be fine.  I hate colds, and I have one now too.  Yuck.  :cuddle;

I just used the Sudafed non drowsey cough and cold capsules. I only used Robotusin after being discharged for IV treatments. But what you were told is what my center also told me to take, along with more fluid intake.. It sems with colds now they don't last as long symptomwise compared to pre transplant.

Hope your feeling better soon.

I feel for you Chris.  I thing my allergies turned into a sinus infection and I feel horrible!  I have been sick since Monday and my dr. called in some antibiotics for me.  So far no fever though and that is the good news!

You are still sick after 4 weeks and the transplant clinic is sending you to your family physician for antibiotics?  That doesn't sound right to me.  I would think that they would want to be on top of something that is hanging around for so long.  :cuddle;
