One of the nurse was draining it on Wed and it was working then I got sharp pain on opposite side.. she said still needed to get more out and let it drain..nothing else was coming out but still had intense pain..Then that day went home was hunched over barely could walk had to take pain meds ..following day felt better went in for flush ..filled again and again no drain..that has been the story since...any ideas ..help pls .

Have you had your fluid check/tested by the clinic? The first week of PD training my first drain was slow due to fibrin.  They had to inject my bags with Heparin.  Now, I've been on PD for over a year and I see fibrin here and there but it doesn't slow down my drain.  I'm really concern about your cloudy/pinkish fluid.  I'm really surprise your clinic have not tested for possible infection.

I just got over peritonitis 2 weeks ago.  This past Monday, I had my clinic follow up.  They took sample of my fluid to make sure there are no white blood cells in the fluid.  If so, this means there is still infection in my peritoneal.  The pain came out of no where and when I tested my fluid, it was cloudy.  By the time I was admitted in the hospital, the fluid was milky like.  I was hospitalized for 5 days.

Hope everything works out for you.
