Hi Eunice and welcome to IHD.  I was 24 when I started dialysis and 25 when I received my transplant.  It lasted 17 years and I'm now 47 and "thinking" about another transplant.  I hope this helps you.  Hang in there and enjoy the site.... it was made with you in mind.

Hi Eunice!  I live just outside of Detroit, in Warren.  If you are ever longing for a little home news from the Mitten - just let me know.  I've been on dialysis now for about a year and a half.  Welcome to IHD!!

Hi Eunice and welcome to IHD.  I am sorry you have had to deal with this in your 20's.  It isn't fair.  I live in Raleigh and there are several of us in North Carolina.  Are you in Fayetteville with the military?    There is a lot of information here, but there is even more support.  So, when you are having a bad day, come here and share with us.  We also like to laugh together.   We would love to hear more about your daughter.   We are very glad you joined this great group.   :cuddle;
