First trip after vision loss and major health problms

I took my first trip in 15 years and since having vision loss and impairments 12 years ago, along with other health issues last week. It was an experience for sure since the last time I flew, the way you check in now is pretty much all automated and getting picked up from the airport trying to find which driver is yours, well crap that was a pain. But the oddest thing hit me while I was entering the hot tub at the hotel on the last night of staying. For some reason I had the fear of water, being alone, and not able to drive anywhere if I need to. Of all the reasons I wanted to get away and have some quiet, I now wished I was back home listening to my parents argue with each other. Last time I had the fear of water from either drinking or a showering was when I was taking medication daily for nausea, so that was an odd feeling to have, especially when I finally got away for once. Seems I need to be in a place that is somewhat noisy or do something constantly to keep me busy instead of relaxing. The one thing I though would throw up red flags didn't, all my medication. My laptop was more important to them, which seemed odd. If someone is bringing a bunch of pills, I would think I would want to see those out of the carry on bag. On the way home, TSA left me a nice note that they inspected my baggage, wonder what would have happened if I put my meds in there, cavity search?

I went to Nebraska. Trip out, they led me outside in a wheelchair and walk up a long ramp, trip back, had to get off walking down steep steps from the airplane and then into a wheelchair. My knees where not feeling good after that.

I'll bet they weren't feeling good. Who did you visit in Nebraska? Did you have a good time?

I went to see an old friend. Unfortunately they became sick and we only went to the Capitol to just get me out. So most of the stay was in the hotel room and walking to the store to get something to eat and to get decaf coffee to drink. I wish it went better, kinda feel it was a waste of a trip since I didn't go anywhere, but can't blame them for getting sick. Feel like I'm getting sick now though, but that could be due to being on the airplane, all the people at the airport, or touch something along the way.
I'll consider it a dry run to make it to an IHD Las Vegas meeting. Wish I could have afforded that one this year.

That's the plan. Truck is paid off in either June or July and I get a tax rebate for using E-85 gas/hybrid vehicle here.
