Martin (the snorer) & Mack (cat w/renal failure)

« on: September 26, 2008, 01:52:16 PM »

I went to do my lab work today and I noticed something strange.  Like most, I typically have to produce a urine sample so I can honestly say that as many times as I have been in that building I don't think I have ever been to the public restroom.  Anyway, I will start by saying that the building has been there maybe a little over a year so it is basically a new building, state of the art.  Today I didn't have to produce a sample so I went to the restroom before going to my truck.  I walk in, go to the urinal, finish, of course go was my hands, and then use the handryer to dry my hands.  Here is the thing....the urinal has an eye on it so it will flush automatically, the sink has normal handles, and the handryer has an eye.  It seems to me that they want to make sure the urinal flushes and you don't waste paper towels, but what about the germs on the sink.  Not the be brash, but the guys have had their hands on their junk, so all of the germs are going to be on the sink handles, right?  Anyway, I thought that was interesting....maybe it's just me.   :o

I walked out of the rest room one day and a guy said .
"Hey , Didn't your mother teach you to wash your hands after you peed ? "

I looked back and said ." Nope , she taught me not to pee on my hands "

This is why we use hand sanitizer wipes , etc ....  :waving;

I have had 2 grafts the last one finally "took"

Got on the transplant list - Halloween Day 2008

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.    I BELIEVE THIS TO BE SOOOOO TRUE!
