Hello-I am the new kid on the block. I started dialysis three months ago. So far so good. No problems or complaints. Hope it all stays good.

Welcome, Coldhoist. I'll echo Jean and say that this is definitely the place to be if you want answers to questions, or when you seek information on just about any topic related to ESRD and dialysis. Glad to know that your beginning was smooth and things are going well for you!

Welcome to IHD.  We are much like one large Family, all suffering from the effects of Kidney Disease.  Some not themselves, but are the Caregivers for another Family member.

We share our anger, frustration, Glad Tidings when they occur.  It is a great help to know that you are NOT alone in this.  There are far too many suffering the very same, or very nearly the same, experiences as you.  There are uncountless things that can make a difference in our lives.  We try to share much of those things we have learned, hopefully saving much time and frustration in learning how to cope with our trials.

You haven't said what has led you to Dialysis or which type of Dialysis you are doing.  Any time you feel like talking, we will be here for you.

Greetings.    What kind of dialysis are you on, and would you ever consider doing it at home?   Some of us find that gives a big chunk of our lives back.

Coming up on my 5 year anniversary, and life is still good.
