Title: DaVita and the Wait

My mom was currently diagnosed with ESRD  >:( and well we didn't know much about kidney disease and so we chose the one clinic we had always heard about DaVita. Her first couple of weeks she had to wait for at least an hour they were sooo backed up with patients ( it was bad enough we were both nervous to be there) so we finally decided to switch her another clinic and even started her on a home program!!! we are both way happier and way less stressed out!!!!!

Good job, V!  Sounds like you and your Mom took control and that is a really good thing.

Good for you and your mom!  If you live in an area where there are several clinics competing for your business, use it to your advantage.  You do not have to put up with a second-class facility such as the one you described.

Good for you!  We spend a lot of our time around here encouraging people to stand up for themselves - looks like you didn't need to hear it!
