Hello everyone I'm Chris from martinsville,VA! 11/07/ 2007 I was diagnosed w/ ESRD and had a permacath inserted 12/10/07 and started dialysis 2 days later. On April 15,2008 i was blessed with a non related transplant from a real close friend and coworker!!! I have been coming to this site quite same time and decide to join i have a lot of questions answered here and hope to have many more answered . I hope to answer and help anyone i can....CHRIS

In Richmond Va is where i had my transplant done at VCU Virginia Commonwealth university! Will be leaving tommorrow going to meet the transplant team. so far so good ,5 months out from transplant . will leave info about check-up when i get back home
