Title: Chipmunk
Post by: karen547 on August 20, 2008, 07:29:12 AM
Hi all. I seem to have a chipmunk in the house. I woke up a bit ago and heard a loud pitched squeek, so I assumed my cat had caught something. Well she is skulking around the tv and going behind there, so I go and look, and theres this sweet little chipmunk behind there!
I dont really have any way to catch the thing and dont want to get bit, so my question is do I call animal control? I mean will they laugh at me for this? Or do I just let my cat take care of it? I dont really want her to kill the chipmunk though..

I dont know. My cat is now sleeping, so I assume the chipmunk is hiding somewhere else now, or escaped/

I would call animal control
it could carry rabies
but probably not but still
if you get bitten, you'd have to worry
once we had a spreading adder on our patio
and I thought it was a cobra
the fire department just laughed at me
I'd call someone but hopefully they will not make you pay

I dont even know where it is, so calling animal control would be a waste of time right now
