My parents are going up to Canada for about 10 days. My Grandma who passed in June had a Condo up there and my parents need to go and clean it up, and get it ready so they can rent it out. I am just a bit worried, because my mom started on Oral Chemo just recently, and if something were to happen up there she has no medical insurance up there. I am pretty sure she will be okay though. Also, I am wondering about cooking for myself? I dont really have that many easy recipes. I have to go grocery shopping this weekend to buy some food for the week. I am really into Turkey Burgers, but dont have a good recipe for one.

Karen, have your parents looked into buying traveler's insurance for their trip to Canada? It might cost a bit because of her pre-existing condition but for peace of mind it's worth looking into. I always buy visitor's insurance when my niece and nephew visit but of course they have no health issues at the moment.
Blue Cross is one company that sells it and you could also do a Google search for travelers insurance Canada and see what turns up.
Hope your parents have a good trip.
