Oh, yeah.  At first I thought it was just a truck going by, then it picked up in intensity and my house was moving back and forth, east to west.  I've lived through so many of these things I hardly think about them any more!

I just spoke to my wife and son who are vacationing in Anaheim at her parents ..
My wife was in the shower when it hit  :bandance; , She got out and stood in the doorway and
my son ran around looking for his racoon :urcrazy; (stuffed animal)

Being from So Cal myself  I have been thru a lot of earthquakes . I spent the Whittier quake at work
watching my trucks bounce from wheel to wheel . I went thru the Northridge 6.8 on the 2nd floor
of an apartment building and the big one in Sylmar on the top bunk of a bunk bed
on hardwood floors .
Everyone is okay though  I hope everyone else did got thru with minimal damage also.

Yeah, it was a pretty good shake... 5.4, big enough to move my bed a few inches, but nothing compared to the Northridge quake (7.3) If you've lived through the Northridge quake like me, then a 5.4 doesn't seem so scary  ;D

Luckily, most of the damage is minor... although the damage is still being assesed

It shook pretty good here - got my adrenalin pumping!
I too was stepping into the shower - it did pass through my mind that I might have to sprint out the door nude, luckily the rolling quit before I embarrassed myself.  :shy;
Cell phones were knocked out for awhile but seems ok now.
 :)

I was sitting in my wheelchair in the backyard when it started to shake here in W.L.A.  My fearless dog (lab/chow mix) was sleeping by my side and got up to bark ferociously at the car in the garage (on jack stands) when it started to shake and dance.  Glad I wasn't on the 5th floor at dialysis today!
