PKD Foundation Funds Millions in Groundbreaking New Research
PKD Foundation scientific advisors have voted to fund approximately $4 million in PKD research, including a project in France studying a promising new drug, Roscovitine.
According to researchers, Roscovitine may provide a long-term treatment for PKD without frequent dosing. It is currently being used in cancer clinical trials.
For the first time, the PKD Foundation will also fund a research project at the Stowers Institute in Kansas City, home of the PKD Foundation's international headquarters.
This year, the PKD Foundation is funding projects in 17 states and 10 foreign countries.
