Title: Gail's Garden
Post by: monrein on June 17, 2008, 03:01:28 PM
I already posted pics of my garden on the hobbies thread but  Alex (Gatorfan215) and I took so many I can't resist posting more.  If I've gone overboard, please forgive me and moderators please remove.

very beautiful- the third picture down- what kind of flower is that? are those buds yet to bloom?  Your yard reminds me of my moms when she still could. Just beautiful.

Yes Kim, those are peonies.  I have several different varieties and those are pink ones just about to pop.

I wish my yard looked that good. I have the equivalent of weeds and dirt right now due to the heat and California water shortage campaign.

of course, elegance at best
no weeds, or bubble gum wrappers, or dog poo
should be in Home and Gardens
beautiful
you are not in the USA?
I used to think you lived on the beach in a cottage in Jamaica, where do I come up with these ideas
you are surrounded by beauty

:rofl; Twirl, I'm FROM Jamaica and I do have a cottage here in Ontario and I'm a dual Canadian/American citizen and I've lived and worked in France but I live in Toronto.  No wonder you're confused.....so am I much  of the time.

Beautiful pictores, well done Alex  :clap; and well done Gail for all the love and attention you obviously put into your garden.  Mine's a bit more like Twirl's description (only no bubble gum wrappers  :rofl;)
