Title: Medco Insurance
Post by: knmiller on June 05, 2008, 11:54:56 AM
I am struggling right now with Medco Insurance related to my prescription costs.  I just found out that I'm scheduled for transplant on July 1st and want NO additional surprises.

Anyone else work with these idiots?  I swear that their intelligence is just above that of a rock....

I am sorry you are having problems. Our insurance uses Medco and I haven't had any problems.  We do the three month mail order for maintenance prescribtions and our local pharmacy for one time meds.  I was at WalMart today and got a new scripe filled; no problem.   I've had really good luck talking to a "live"person any time I have had a question, including asking about post transplant meds.(hopefully one day I'll need them!)   I hope you find a good representative to talk to--keep asking for the next person up in rank until you get answers.  Sending good wishes for a successful transplant :2thumbsup;  Keep us posted

When dealing with a beauracracy you have to turn the rocks over in a few heads.  Good luck and use a big stick occasionally.
