Title: not a nurse...yet

I'm a nursing student, and I am currently working in a non-clinical role within Davita.  I'm really interested in learning more about the patients' perspectives, but maybe I can shed light from my side as well...

Just so you know, there are patients, caregivers, medical personal and friends that are members and we are here to support each other and not be judged because maybe we are having a bad day. There's plenty here to read covering every topic know to man-kind. Sit back, read, ask questions and if you need a good rant, do that also. Again,  :welcomesign;

Anytime someone in the medical profession, who takes a proactive approach in learning from the perspective of the patient is OK in my book. It shows your dedication to the patient.

Join in on anything that peaks your interest. Read and post often.

Glad you joined us. My center has a constant flow of nursing students but they usually keep them away from me.

Welcome!! I'm a happy DaVita home hemo patient...they've always treated me incredibly well, but you will hear other stories from some on this board. All we ask is to be included in our treatment, informed about what's going on, and basically just treated like adults who are stuck with this disease.
