Okay, maybe a little too dramatic title, but I'm so excited!  My husband is a MATCH!!!!!     4/6 antigen!!!     :yahoo;   He admits on the 27th for the remainder of this testing.  They want him to drop about 15 lbs before transplant, but we can do that!!!!  It would be amazing to receive my husband's kidney!

I guess they'll send my brother to "the committee" this Wednesday to see if he's accepted.  If he is then we may not need to admit my husband.  ???

Thanks for the good news.  From the title I assumed the worst.  Glad it was good news!

YEAH!!!  That is great news!!!!!!  I'm a 3/6 match for Rob, unfortunately I can't donate to him.  I'm so excited for you guys!  Here's hoping he passes the rest of his tests.   :2thumbsup;

Thanks everyone.  I truly appreciate your kind words.

IF they do accept my brother (3/6 antigen match), it's nice to know that I have a back-up kidney should something go wrong down the road.  Provided that no one gets a transfusion in the interim.  Any thoughts?
